Registration
Our site registration form requires users to give us contact information (name and e-mail address). We use that contact information to send the user e-mail updates and, when necessary, to contact the user. User data is not shared with other organizations or used for other purposes under any circumstances and is held in complete privacy.
Opt-Out
Users can have their name and data removed from our database at any time by clicking on the “opt out” button on e-mail communications or sending e-mail to comments@ChangeTheStory.net with the subject "Remove Me".
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your e-mail address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. Please e-mail requests to comments@ChangeTheStory.net
Cookies
If a user chooses to register with our web site, a cookie is placed on their PC. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. This cookie is valid for two years, and saves the user the time of having to login every time they visit our web site. If a user rejects the cookie, they are still able use our site by logging in. Cookies also enable us to enhance the experience on our site by customizing content based on the user's interests. We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Participation
Our web site enables users to participate in online grassroots activities (when an issue arises). Records of these activities are stored in our database, but this information is not shared with any third parties. Our organization only reads the e-mail messages and faxes sent to out from the Action Center if the user chooses to send a copy of the message to us.

All content, with the exclusion of material attributed to or hyperlinked to external sites, is the property of Intersections International and the Collegiate Church, Inc., and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without the written permission. Spread the Word
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the e-mail address. We automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. The e-mail addresses of these friends are not stored in our database.
