If we truly want to change the story about Muslims in the U.S. and around the world, we must move beyond dialogue to action. Meaningful action is best expressed when it is undertaken cooperatively across race, culture and faith lines. When this notion is addressed within a faith-based context, three questions can legitimately be asked: Is it appropriate in my faith tradition to participate in advocacy? How do I go about organizing? Can this activity be effective?
